January 20, 2018. Carolyn participated in many parts of
the Cullman community. She taught for many years at
West Elementary and Sacred Heart in Cullman, as well as
at Sea Park Elementary in Florida. She worked at
Cullman Internal Medicine and led many CPR classes
through the years. She was an active member at St.
John’s Church, singing in the choir, serving with children’s
ministries, and participating in the women’s guild. Working
with her family and many volunteers, Carolyn was a leader
of the Peinhardt Living History Farm program. She
promoted the educational program through creating
curriculum materials and working with school field trips.
Carolyn was also a beloved aunt who spent many hours
with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church with Rev. Sidney Johnson and Rev. John Richter officiating. Mrs. Johnson will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Carl and
Irene Ehrensperger Peinhardt and brother, Larry
Peinhardt. She is survived by her husband Bill Johnson;
sister Pat Peinhardt; brothers Eddie (Beck) Peinhardt and
Bill (Carolyn) Peinhardt; brothers-in-law Sidney (Jean)
Johnson and Herbert Johnson; sister-in-law Faye Yates
and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:30 until 9:00 at Moss Funeral Home.

any charity of your choice.
