Brenda Sue Britt

Brenda Sue Andrews Britt, eldest born on July 21, 1947, to J.D Andrews Jr. and Eloise Cummings Andrews, died Nov. 19, 2017. Brenda graduated from Fairview High School in 1965, then attended Calhoun Community College, where she went on to work in the banking industry. She met the love of her life during her senior year in high school, but turned him down when asked her to attend his senior prom. Randy and Brenda were married in 1971. That began their travels across the U.S. during Randy's military career. They moved back to Alabama in 1982, where she eventually retired from the Cullman County Sheriff's Office. She enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with family, but most of all she loved the Lord and watching Alabama football. She was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She will be missed beyond measure. She is survived by husband, Randy Britt; daughters, Nikki Britt Tankersley and Jennifer Britt; grandchildren, Shayna Tankersley, Skylar Tankersley and Kayley Hall; brothers, Scott (Vicki) Andrews, Lou (Paulette) Andrews and Cathy Heald; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Brenda's life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at Fairview First Baptist Church.
