Barbara Ann Sanford

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Bone Sanford, 70, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Father Bob Blackwell and the Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was called home by her Lord and Savior Monday, Jan. 24, surrounded by her family after a courageous two-year battle with cancer, that she tried so hard to win. Barbara was a retired beautician from Plaza Beauty Salon after 30 years. she loved her patrons and they loved her the same. She attended Cullman City schools and was a member of her Class of 1958. She was member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton Sparks and Crystal Lee Wynn Bone.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Wendell Sanford; a son, Arnold Warren Sanford of South Carolina; a daughter, Kimberly Ann (Beau) Brown of Georgia; and a precious goddaughter, Elizabeth McAfee.

Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
