Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10, at 10:00 am at Moss Service Funeral Home in Cullman, Alabama. Visitation will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am with Gene Green officiating. Burial and graveside service will be at 2:30 pm at the Garden of Love section of Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, Alabama
Alyne was born in Hanceville, Alabama on September 15, 1929 to W.B. and Willa Mae Garner Barnett. She devoted her life to her husband of 71 years, her family, church and anyone she knew who was in need of help or a home cooked meal. Affectionately known as “Memol” she had a special love for children and in addition to her own children and grandchildren, she blessed many families by caring for them in her home.
Alyne is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Afton Williams, her brother, Gilbert Barnett, and her parents. She is survived by her brother, Dyrel Barnett; her children, Carol Green (Gene), Kay Smith (Frank) and Alan Williams (Becky); seven Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
