Joseph Scaffidi

Born December, 1932. Died September 17, 2012. Joe was almost 80 years old and married to Patricia (Burnside) almost 60 years (Oct 15). Exceptional father and teacher of his children: Jo Marie Scaffidi, Laura (Jeff) Kopczynski, Anthony Scaffidi, Sandra Siwieck and Nicholas (Angela) Scaffidi. Grampa and "Grumpa" of Joey (Greta), Corinn, Katie Mae, Justin, Samantha and Katia. Further survived by his sister: Mary Johnson, many relatives and his extended family: the Bashaws; fishing partners and deckhands: Michael, Jimmy and Robbie and very special fishing buddy: John.

Joe's greatest love was fishing. He was always happy to be outdoors working in his garden, trimming grapevines and fruit trees or taking care of his beautiful lawn.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr Mazzulla (and staff) for his compassionate care of Joe for many years.

Visitation Saturday September 22 from 3:00-5:00PM at the funeral home with Memorial Service 5:00PM. Private interment.

God grant that I may fish

until my dying day;
