Virginia Strzalka

She was born September 21, 1924, in Chicago to Roman and Margaret (Bujak) Kaminski. On May 8, 1948, she married Fredrick Strzalka in Chicago; he preceded her in death on November 25, 1992.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Tony) Dahm and Gary (Eileen) Strzalka; her grandchildren, Lisa, Shelly (John), Eric (Joan), Tony (April), David (Martha), Ryan (Meaghen), Lauren (Bryan), Jeff (Lisa), Jodi (Ryan) and Greg (Sarah); 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister of Estelle (the late Stanley) Bemben; and many nieces and nephews.

She as preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents; and her siblings, Dolores (John), Katherine (Matt), Jean (John) and the late Walter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Fri., Sept. 16, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago.

Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
