Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Busse; grandson, Vance Gutt; sisters, Marty (Larry) Richards and Anne Swett; brothers, John, Jim (Susan), Richard (Barb) and Dennis Swett; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward W. Swett.
Visitation 10 until 11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake, with memorial service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
