Thomas Julian Seger

Tom Seger, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Tom was born October 5, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Julian and Virginia Seger.

He had a love and passion for boating and was a former member of the Fleet 17 Boat Club and the Cary Jaycees in Illinois for many years.

Tom is survived by his 2 daughters, Kimberly (James) Veugeler of Crystal Lake, IL and Jodi (James) Long of Crystal Lake, IL; 5 grandsons, Kyle (Alexandra) Veugeler of Bastrop, TX, Matthew Veugeler of McHenry, IL, Zachary (Kaiyla) Veugeler of Crystal Lake, IL, Trevor Long of Woodstock, IL, and Riley Long of Crystal Lake, IL; great-grandson Kace Veugeler; siblings Julie Woodall of Ft. Pierce, FL, Cathy Silva of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Chrissy Padowitz of Jupiter, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 46 years Patricia; wife of 10 years Maureen; and siblings Sue Walker, Nancy Allen, and Barb McCann.

Visitation will be held on August 19, 2022 from 4pm until 6pm at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Funeral service to immediately follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be may to Treasure Coast Hospice of Fort Pierce, FL.
