Marc Thomas Bell Bender

A 2015 graduate of Marengo Community High School, Marc was an avid sportsman; participating in football and baseball while in high school.

Marc was a true fan of the Chicago Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks. He enjoyed fishing, making others laugh, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Crystal Bender; sister, Rachael Bender; grandparents, Bob and Cindy Bell, Jim and Kathy Patten; aunts, Brenda (Travis) Raebel, Valerie (Adam) Levenson, Amy Bender, Nadine (Keith) Johnson, and Heather Patten; uncle, Mike (Liza) Bender; cousins, Kya Levenson, Mikayla and Natalie Bender, Brittany and Kyle Johnson; 4 great-grandmothers; and many other relatives and friends.

In celebration of Marc’s life, please wear Marengo Community High School colors for the services.

Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 21st, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake. Visitation continued 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in the gymnasium of Marengo Community High School, 110 Franks Rd, Marengo, Saturday, August 22nd.
