Mack D. Morgan, 89, of Chicago, passed away March 28, 2016. Born June 3, 1926 in Red Level, AL; he was the son of Willie and Laura (Upshaw) Morgan. He married Eva Lewis on November 23, 1962 in Chicago.
Uncle Mack was a United States Army Veteran and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, where he served as a trustee. He retired from the City of Chicago after many years of employment.
He enjoyed spending time in his vegetable garden and having family gatherings at his home.
Survivors include his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 3801 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago. Visitation 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment in Oak Woods Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted www.querhammerandflagg.com
