Ella was born September 1st, 1926 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Bernini. She married Wesley J. Schultz in 1947, and they had two children. Ella worked as the administrative assistant to the president of Fairbanks Morse in Beloit, WI. In 1993, Ella and Wes retired to Lake Fairways in Ft Myers , FL. where they enjoyed golfing and playing bridge. Ella volunteered with FISH in the community, where she served as secretary, treasurer, and driver.
Over her lifetime, Ella traveled (RV'd) throughout much of the United States, including Alaska, and also visited Italy, Africa and New Zealand. Always busy with craft activities, including cross stitch, quilting and sewing, she created many treasured gifts for family and friends over the years. Ella was known for her great sense of humor and 'joie de vivre'.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra M. Clemento, Ft. Meyers, FL and Cynthia A. Schultz, Grayslake, IL; grandchildren Anthony (Danielle Martucci) Clemento, Watsonville, CA, Brian Swetland, Palo Alto, CA and Kimberly (Matthew) Hawley, Wauconda, IL; great grandchildren Nicole & Jacob Hawley and Sylvia Clemento. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Rose Bernini, her husband Wesley J Schultz, and her sister Mary Greene.
While living in Grayslake, IL she was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church where a Mass will be said in her honor in lieu of a funeral service.
