Dale Marie Aliotta, age 82, of South Beloit, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She was born on January 9, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Oswald and LaVerne Manthey.
Dale had a passion of helping others. She was a dedicated nurse for many years, having worked at Loyola Medical Center and Hines VA Hospital. When she moved to Wickenburg, Arizona, she became a Home Healthcare nurse. In her free time she loved to make jewelry, fish, and play Bingo and Canasta with her niece.
Dale is survived by her niece Kim (Ken) Heun; her nephew Jim (Chaun) Sturtevant; her great-niece Kayla (Jesse Wilhite) Sturtevant; her great-nephews Ryan Manthey and Randy Manthey; her great-great-nephews Anthony Corona and Gavin Corona; her brother-in-law Jim Sturtevant; and her beloved dog Sugar. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Al Aliotta; her son Jay Aliotta; her daughter Ann-Marie Aliotta; her nephew James Sturtevant-Howe; sister Karen Sturtevant; and her brothers Richard Manthey and Brian Manthey.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:30am at Arlington Cemetery, 401 East Lake St, Elmhurst, IL 60126. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dale's name can be made to Helping Paws, 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock, IL 60098.
