Christopher Kenneth Struchen, age 42, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Christopher was born on May 12, 1981 in Lakewood, CA to Richard Struchen and Claudette Pitre.
Chris is survived by his children Elijah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Victoria of Carlisle, PA; his father Richard Struchen of Carmel, IN; his mother Claudette Pitre of Wauconda, IL; his sisters Rachel Struchen of Island Lake, IL and Ericka Struchen of Indianapolis, IN; his brothers Thomas Struchen of Chicago, IL and Jerimiah Struchen of Lafayette, IN; and his many loving family members and loyal friends.
Chris was a hardworking carpenter who loved to travel. He spent many of his days hiking, gaming, playing D&D and listening to loud music. He was known for his horrible dad jokes, inappropriate wit, generous heart, and tenacious love for his craft. He would like to be remembered as a loving, hard working man.
A celebration of life for Christopher will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mental Health America.
