Carl J. Vainisi, Jr., 85, of Algonquin passed away January 10, 2022 with his loving wifey at his side.

He was born February 14, 1936 in Chicago to Carl Sr. and Angeline Vainisi. Carl married Jessie Campanelli on January 14, 1961.

Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a gentle, kind and generous man with a good sense of humor.

Carl will be missed by his beloved wife of almost 61 years, Jessie; his son, Carl (Dodi) Vainisi III; his grandchildren, Jacqueline (Dan) Carrasco, Stephanie (Kyle) Raley, Carl Vainisi IV; his great-grandchildren, Kade, Lia, Mae, Colton, Keller, Sawyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

There will be a visitation from 9am to 11am on Friday, January 14 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am.

Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at 1:30pm.
