Walter Rhea Latham age 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

He is survived by his children, Rachel (Nick) Botts, Ronald Wiens and Melissa Saylor; grandchildren, Nickoles Jr., Baylee, Alyse, Tiffany, April, Lydia, Tessa, Krista and Nathan; sisters, Cindy (late Bill) Gholson and Debra (Albert) Ticer; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Irene Marcella Latham and brother, Rickey Latham.

Walt was born November 14, 1955 in Memphis, TN to the late Donald and Rachel Latham and was graduate of Millington High School, Millington TN. On June 12, 1981 he married the love of his life, Marcie Saylor. Walt drove a school bus for the Chicago Public School Corporation. He loved cars and enjoyed repairing them.

Walt was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN.
