He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Brouillette; daughters, Carrie (Douglas) Handley and Cheryl (Zachary) Vanat; grandchildren, Montana, Mira, Morgan and Harper; brothers, Richard (Paulette) Brouillette, Jim Brouillette and David (Jennifer) Brouillette; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Annabelle Brouillette.
Tom was a 1966 graduate of Morton High School in Hammond and went on to proudly serve our country in the US Army. He retired from ArcelorMittal with 48 years of service. Tom was active in scouting serving as a Boy Scout leader and volunteering for the Girl Scouts. He enjoyed fishing, fly tying, woodworking, bird watching and traveling with his family.
Tom was a loving son, brother, husband, father and papa who will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Rev. Edward Cunningham officiating.
Burial to be held privately by the family at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
