ROBERT V. PHILLIPS WHITING/ROBERTSDALE, IN Robert V. Phillips, age 67, passed away on February 12, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Wilma Phillips; brothers: Earl and Johnny Phillips; one sister, Geraldine McClure; uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons: Robert Lee Phillips and William Verlon Phillips "Bill". Robert enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and feeding the birds and squirrels. He is now at home with his sons and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012, 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, February, 16, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
