Rick Webber age 61 of Schererville, IN, passed away suddenly on September 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Denise; two sons, Adam Webber and Brian (Charisse) Webber; two grandchildren, Kara and Gage Webber all of Schererville; one sister, Dianne Webber of California; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; also survived by his special family, The Crawfords, Ed (Linda), Emmett (Geanne), Rhonda (Bob) Florin and Sue and Kevin Peto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine and Scott Webber; two brothers, Keith Webber and Keith Crawford.
Mr. Webber graduated from Morton High School in 1974. He served two years in the US Army. Rick was a retired ironworker with Local 395 with 38 years of service. He was proud of his profession as an ironworker. He had many setbacks due to injuries throughout his life but always fought back to return to work before eventually retiring.
Rick enjoyed coaching his sons' baseball teams when they were younger. He enjoyed the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Theodore J. Mens officiating.
Inurnment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
