She is survived by her loving children: Rich Townsell, Patty Townsell, Barb (Roy) Moss and Cheryl Slaven; 12 brothers and sisters; daughters-in-law: Kim and Bobbie Townsell; 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Townsell; sons: Robert E. “Moose” and Mike Townsell and grandson, Matthew Townsell.
Phyllis worked the Hammond FOP bingo for 26 years. She was a member of the Hammond Ladies Auxillary for over 50 years and was owner and secretary of P&R Electric of Hammond, IN.
She dedicated her life to raising her children and taking care of her family.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, (8178 Cline Ave Schererville, IN) Pastor Dan Nicoles officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
