Phyllis Louise Williamson St. Clair

Phyllis L. St. Clair, age 87, of Griffith, IN, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2014 at St. Margaret Hospital of Dyer with her loving family at her side. Phyllis was born July 4, 1926 in Lafayette, IN to the late Robert and Pauline Williamson. She married Everett P. St. Clair, he preceded her in death on April 13, 1987. Also preceding her in death is her sister Marilyn Sue Pollack. Surviving are her children: Pamela (Charlie) Clark of Nashville, Michigan, Robert (Diana) St. Clair of Liberty, MO, Dennis St. Clair of Pheonix, AZ, David (Elizabeth) St. Clair of St. John, IN, Scott (Sylvia) St. Clair of Griffith, IN, Paula (Chris) Baldner of Gary, and Steven Drew (Karen) St. Clair of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren: Terri Jo, Stacy, Joseph, Mandi, Nikki, Amanda, Brandon, Jennifer, Michael, Linde, Casey, Sarah, Crystal, Seth, Kayla; and 24 great grandchildren. Mrs. St. Clair started her nursing career at St. Margaret Hospital of Hammond and then retired from Lake Ridge Medical Clinic of Griffith with over 20 years of service. She was an avid and loyal Cubs fan and an enthusiast of all sports. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given towards American Cancer Society.
