Phoebe I. (Strong) Reed

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Reed. They were married for 50 years. Her children, Kimberly Reed (Jerry Moore), Kenneth (Jane) Reed, Kevin Reed (Donna Joseph), Kelly Jackson, and Kristy (Jason) Wheeler. She has 25 grandchildren, 11 plus two on the way great-grandchildren. Her siblings, Robert (Donna) Strong, Julie (Zack) Zeise, Kimothy Strong, Robin (Kenny) Farren and many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Strong; mother, Marjorie (Ballard) Strong; sister, Linda (Strong) Soltis; son, Kristopher Reed; granddaughter, Micaiah Jackson; and many more loved ones.

A special thank you to Kurtis, Nikki and Tina for taking care of her. She enjoyed her "oldies" music and camping with her family for years. She loved watching her football games with Kenneth Michael's family. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandbabies.

She will be dearly missed by all.

A Public Visitation for Phoebe will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
