Janet M. Hevezi (nee Vinzens), age 73, of Crown Point, IN passed away Friday, December 20, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband John; sister Cheryl McDonald; nephew Jarrod McDonald; two nieces Tami (Danny) Dorris, Anne Marie (Brian) Urie; One great niece Antoinette Dorris; three great nephews: Andrew & Anthony Dorris and Tyler Urie; numerous cousins, and life-long friend Adeline Sangineto. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bernice and Walter Vinzens. Janet was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Crown Point, IN. She was a retired coordinator with Catholic Charities of Calumet City, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN. Inurnment will follow the mass. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, January 3, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 A.M. (time of prayer service) at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Crown Point, IN.
