James Thomas Mola

James Thomas 'Bunny' Mola age 69 of Portage, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Diane Mola; son, James (Yolanda) Mola Jr.; daughters, Heather (Jeff) Farmer and Michelle (Jay) Bearthard; brother, Jeffery (Linda) Mola and sister Jennifer (Jim) Myner.

Preceded in death by his father, James V. Mola; mother, Elaine Mola; daughter, Sandra Jones-Mola; brother, Samuel Mola and sister, Susie O’Neil Mola.

Bunny was born September 24, 1950 in Hammond, IN to the late James V. and Elaine B. Mola and was a graduate of Calumet High School.

He retired from Painters Local 460, Council 91 with 31 years of service.

Bunny loved his seven grandchildren and enjoyed life, helping others and his beloved family.

Bunny was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all who's lives he touched.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Minister Rebecca Sundquist officiating.

Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Due to the current conditions of Covid-19, masks are required for attendance.
