He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Steve) Goralczyk.
Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Irene Hay and daughter, Janice Hay.
George was born on March 21, 1927 in Mt. Carmel, IL to the late George and Stella Hay. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force during WWII. George retired from Amoco Oil with 35 years of service. He and Irene enjoyed golfing and their yearly 'Snowbird' trips to Florida.
George was a loving son, brother, husband and father and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Rebecca Sundquist officiating.
Friends are invited to meet with the family from 3:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Highland 9540 Fifth Street Highland, IN 46322.
