Ethel was born on December 25, 1932 in Griffith, IN to the late Elmer and Grace Koster. She married the love of her life, the late John White, on July 31, 1951. Together they raised four children, Curtis (Cathy) White, Belinda (James) Overby, Diane (Greg) Barker, and Keith (Kim) White. She is survived by her grandchildren, Brian White, Eric Overby, Michael Overby, John Overby, Chad Barker, Melissa Barker, Amanda Baranowski, and Kelsey White. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Ethel loved and was devoted to her family and church. She was a devout Christian since childhood. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
A visitation for Ethel will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 2:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
