She is survived by her three children, Timothy Quick (Nancy), Jill Cadle (Anthony), and Debra Gomez (Russell).
She leaves behind six grandchildren, Mark Quick (Elaine), Shelbi Gomez (Darryl Poston), Phillip Cadle (Jessica), Julie Taber (Joshua), Shanell Kvenvold (Kurtis), and Sydnee Krinke (Seth). She also leaves behind sixteen great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Edna Lane, brothers, Donald Jerome Lane and John Lane, brother-in-law, George Sallade, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Quick. Betty is survived by her sister, Nancy Sallade, brother-in-law, David Quick, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was born on April 15, 1937, in Knox County, Indiana. She was affectionately known as Betty Ann by her family. She lived her earliest years in Vincennes, and then lived in Evansville during her school years. She graduatedfrom Mater Dei High School in 1955.
After graduation, Betty moved to Hammond, IN and married Kenneth Quick at the Crown Point Courthouse. Betty retired from Roadway Express Trucking Company with twenty-six years of service. She moved to Bedford, IN in 1997 to helpcare for her mother. In 2014, she moved to Schererville, IN.
Betty filled her eighty-three years of life on earth with love. Her heart was filled with family and friends. Her small frame was filled to the brim with personality. Her mind was quick to engage. Her hands were quick to share.Her feet were quick to take her to any who needed or wanted her. Her most precious treasure was her Savior, Jesus. Because of Jesus, her faults were forgiven, her heart was made whole, and her future now is forever with Him. We look forward to meeting her again in His presence to celebrate His transforming work in our lives to His everlasting praise and glory. II Corinthians 5:21
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown point, IN). Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held with Pastor Philip Humber officiating.
Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Due to the current conditions of Covid-19, masks are required for attendance at the funeral home and cemetery.
