Elaine Beth Lagestee Eagan

ELAINE BETH EAGAN (NEE LAGESTEE) MERRILLVILL, IN Elaine Beth Eagan (nee Lagestee), age 79 of Merrillville, IN, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. She is survived by her two sons: John (Beata) Eagan Jr. and Kevin (Beth) Eagan; four grandchildren: Mary Eagan, J.T. (Elyse) Eagan, Jamie (Mike) Gillen and Matthew Eagan; great granddaughter, Maizie Gillen; brother, Leonard (Bette) Lagestee; sister, Lenora Mulder; and many loving nieces and nephews. Waiting to greet her in Heaven are her beloved husband, John; parents: Leonard and Leola Lagestee; brother, Wayne Lagestee; and two sisters: Shirley Holleman and Judi Pappas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one- half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN with Pastor Drew Brown officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Mrs. Eagan was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Schererville, IN. In later years, Elaine and John followed the sun and wintered in Ft. Meyers, FL for over 23 years, where they relished the sun and surf. They also enjoyed their residence on Bass Lake, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elaine's loving memory to the Humane Society of the Calumet Area.
