Doreen E. Dombroskie

Doreen was born October 1, 1925 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Ervin and Laura Lawson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin, Lester, LaVerne Lawson; and a sister, Elaine Brantley.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Allen Dombroskie; children, Linda Dombroskie, Terry (Keith) Crawley, and Cheryl Behnke; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Doreen retired form the Crown Point School Systems. Mrs. Dombroskie was a member of the Crown Point Eastern Star #408. She was a nurturing caretaker for many generations in her family. Doreen a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of her funeral at 2:00 pm. A Lake Chapter #408 Eastern Star Service will be at 1:00 pm.
