My wife and I knew of Dave's illness just recently and I've just heard of his passing our condolences to the family to all the children and Cheryl .We  always look forward to our sessions with David when he prepared our yearly taxes it was such a pleasure to work with Dave and enjoyed many moments filled with humor and fun .What a pleasant time we had together .We will surely miss him and our prayers are with your family and loved ones .Sincerely, Efrain and Barbara Rivera

I just learned of Dave's passing yesterday.  My sincere condolences to the family.  I know he loved his family deeply and always was so proud of his children and grandchildren.  Dave worked with my dad at Seip Chevrolet and we were lucky to have known him for many years and he was also a great "tax" man too!  May you be comforted by all the lives he has touched.

I was unaware of Davids death until a few days ago. He was a wonderful man who exhibited love and kindness. I shall miss him greatly.

My condolence to family. He did our tax's for 25 years.The year he started doing our tax's was when me and my husband got married so he was always eager to hear about our family and how the children were.We are going to miss him dearly. Paul and Barbara Rapka

David Boss was our "tax" guy. But, he was also one of dad's golfing buddies (who passed away several years ago). He always gave me a discount that read William Hopper's daughter. This year when I saw him, I had a feeling he was sick. He gave me a hug. And he said if I am not here, someone at Boss will always be. I am very saddened for his family. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have lost a great friend with Dave's passing. I will always remember your enthusiasm for your recovery & your poker playing. June 10th Dave's poker playing friends will hold a Memorial Poker Game and a chair will be reserved for Dave. Lastly, you made it David - you've recovered!!!

We met Dave years back in AA and he was never without a smile, a positive word and a hug. He was a sweet soul and I'm sorry that we didn't know he was sick. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time. I had to chuckle when I read his obituary today because as I was cleaning out my car after washing it yesterday I was thinking about Dave and how horrible cancer is and just remembering times we had spent together in the past whether it was at an AA function or he was doing our taxes. Yes, he would much rather have a clean car than flowers. He will be missed.

I will always remember his sense of family by trying to always get us Kobeszka relatives together. He and Cheryl held our first family reunion together at their small cabin house and barn on their property. I remember also our cousin Janie help to paint the barn/shack. He was a great family man. Many special memories spent at Boss' and they are because of Dave.  He was a good man and always treated the park as part of his family. Dave had many "life titles:"  Father, brother, uncle, CPA (and likely more).  I called him FRIEND.  But not just any "friend"--one of those special people who come into your life and make certain elements of it better.  Whether it be a kind word or a quiet hug, Dave knew how to administer whatever necessary.  It is with deep sadness to me and my family to learn this special light in life has moved onto another realm.  Condolences to Dave's family.
