Christina graduated from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. She taught Elementary Education for the Lake Central School system for 40 years. At one time she was a Textbook Commissioner for the State of Indiana as well a strong advocate for the Teachers Union. She was an avid reader and made sure her students were as well. If you were ever in her class, you most likely remember her very animated readings of Harry Potter as well as a fully stocked candy reward jar. She will always be remembered by her ever present smile and sharp sense of humor.
Christina was preceded in death by her mother Florence Harris and her father Ivon Harris.
She is survived by her daughter Ursula Kazakos (Alexander); her grandsons Alexander Yates and Pete Kazakos.
A private service will be held for Christina at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers to honor her passion of reading, a donation can be made in her memory to
