Betty Gabbert Rominger

BETTY M. ROMINGER (NEE GABBERT) HAMMOND, IN Betty M. Rominger, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. She is survived by her children: Donna (Phillip) Buck, Sharon Hampton and Michael (Carolyn) Rominger; dear grandchildren: Michael, Bryan, Nicole, Krista, Alexa, Alyssa and Daniel; and sisters-in-law: Marlene "Glenda" Ramsey and Jean Fredrick. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rominger; father, Glen Gabbert; mother, Marie Heidinger; stepfather, Frank Heidinger; and sister, Suzann McClurg. Betty was a member of the Eastern Star and Phi Omega Sorority. She volunteered many years for Hospice of The Calumet Area. Betty loved to spend time with her family, especially her beloved grandsons, Michael and Bryan Buck. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN). Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
