Amanda Lynn (Kekelik) Negele, of Schererville, IN formerly of Crown Point, IN passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022, surround by loved ones, at the age of 30. She was born to Christopher Stephen and Tina Marie (King) Kekelik, on May 31, 1992, in Hammond, IN.
She leaves behind her husband, Joshua Negele, whom she recently wed on May 29, 2021, her stepson, Cole Negele; pets, Lexi and Lily; parents, Christopher and Tina Kekelik; three sisters: Alix, Sam, and Abbie Kekelik; nephew, Mason; Grandparents Rose Sokolowski, Philip Sr. and Ruth Kekelik; Godson, Jameson Putinga and numerous extended family members and friends.
Amanda graduated from Crown Point High School in 2011. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University Northwest.
Amanda had an endless list of things she loved. She really enjoyed her position with Old Navy and took pride in completing floor resets. She liked to watch the Simpsons, eat pickles, she enjoyed attending sporting events such as: Chicago Blackhawks Hockey games, Chicago Cubs Baseball, Alabama College Football (roll tide🐘), and Crown Point Bulldogs hockey games. She spent time traveling and attending concerts of some of her favorite artists' such as, Harry Styles, Twenty-one Pilots, and Mumford and Sons. Her dogs, Lexi and Lily, brought much joy to her. She also enjoyed Harry Potter, following Tim Tracker, and the magic of all things Disney related. Amanda was an individual who wasn't afraid to be her true self. She was a hard worker and empathetic young woman, who took pride in those she loved fiercely. The beautiful memory of her and the memories she created will forever leave a lasting impression on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 2PM - 8PM. A celebration of Amanda's life will begin at 7PM.
