Susan Rachel Ryan passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by family. She was 74. Sue was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend, and a dedicated member of the Croton community since moving here in 1977. She started her career as a teacher in Beacon, before becoming a travel agent. She spent years fundraising for the school district and on the board of Croton Teen Theatre. She truly loved the people of this town.
Sue's favorite place in the world was the Riverwalk, and she visited every morning with her sweet dog Lexi. We know she will miss all of her Riverwalk friends.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Stephen, her children Andrew and Melissa, her sisters Stephanie & Barbara and their families, her son-in-Law Charlie and her granddaughter Remy who was the light of her life. And, of course, each and every one of her friends.
There will be a celebration of life in the spring of 2025 - date to be determined. All are welcome.
