Rose DiGiugno 89, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 27, 2020. Rose was born to Antonio and Dolores (Marcano) Ramirez on September 30, 1931 in Puerto Rico.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Mark DiGiugno, son Craig DiGiugno (Melissa), and granddaughter Charlotte Grace. Rose was one of 9 brothers and 2 sisters, and survived by her brother Jose Rameriz, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Rose and Mark have enjoyed being members of the Croton on Hudson Community since 1971. Since moving here they have been active members of the Holy Name of Mary community. Over the years she volunteered her time in the local schools and hospitals. She worked for the NY State Comptroller, assisted her husband at DeJUNO TV Repair and Video for over 25 years, but her favorite job was being a mother.
There will be a Catholic mass to honor and celebrate her life at Holy Name of Mary Church, Croton-on-Hudson, on Tuesday, December 8th at 10am. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton on Hudson.
