Richard was born on July 17, 1963 to Robert B. and Rita L. Tuttle in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
Rick was a graduate of Croton-Harmon High School. He was a long-time truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union Local #456. He ended his career working for Rescue Auto Repair in Croton.
Rick was an avid sports fan, visiting baseball stadiums, racetracks and other sporting venues across the United States.
Rick experienced great pride and joy in the lives of his niece and nephew. He will always affectionately be known as “Uncle Ricky.”
His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed.
Richard is survived by his beloved mother, Rita L. Wilcox; caring sister, Karen Johnson (Tuttle) and her husband Jerome as well as his loving niece and nephew Joy and Luke. He was predeceased by his father, Robert B. Tuttle and his stepfather Charles Wilcox.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 1 to 4 PM at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, located at 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM also at the Funeral Home.
