Maria I. Simoes-Taboada of Yonkers, NY passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was 55 years old.
Maria was born on October 3, 1958 in Oviedo, Spain to Raymond and Maria (Iglesias) Taboada.
She is survived by her daughters, Marissa and Monica Simoes; mother, Maria Taboada; sister, Martha Taboada-Iodice and her husband Hugo; brother, Jose Taboada and his wife Michelle and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her former husband Armando Simoes. She was predeceased by her father Raymond Taboada on August 28, 2012.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 23rd at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
