Margaret A. Settepani

Margaret A. Settepani of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. She was 78 years old. Margaret was born on January 1, 1942 to the late George Charles Walter and Elizabeth Clare (Dougherty) Walter in Brooklyn, NY.

Margaret was extremely devoted to her dearly loved husband Al and family. Margaret was a successful co-owner of Creative Copy. She had a caring and motivational energy that spread to those around her. Margaret enjoyed sailing on the Hudson River with Al, creating magnificent stained glass pieces, painting, walking along the river while gazing at beautiful sunsets, spending time in Florida with family and swimming. We will all miss her laugh and cheerful personality.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Alfred Settepani; loving children Philip Settepani and his wife Pamela, Gary Settepani and his fiancée Inga, David Settepani and his wife Christiane, and Theresa Krapish; caring siblings, George Walter and his wife Claudia, Robert Walter and his wife Ann and Kathy Schneider and her husband Thomas. Margaret is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Jesse and his wife Laura, Laura and her husband Vinicius, Michael, Daniel, Annarose, Philip, Margaret and her husband Bryan, James, Christopher, and her adoring great grandchildren Dominick Anthony Settepani and Lavanya and Joban Lehra.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3-7PM at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
