Frank was born on January 15, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Jerome J. and Rafaella F. (Buonomo) Miello.
Frank worked as a draftsman, a construction project manager, and a real-estate entrepreneur. He moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island, NY, in 1978 and lived there for most of his life. As someone who enjoyed the outdoors, he was an avid sport fisherman and was also fond of hunting and camping with his wife and family. Frank was skilled at engineering solutions to practical problems and completing home improvement projects. He took pride in his Italian American heritage, which he saw as being based on the values of respect and having a strong work ethic. Frank was happiest when he was striving for the betterment of his family. He will be remembered for his keen wit, sense of humor, storytelling, and the enthusiasm with which he supported political causes.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lorna Miello; loving sons, Michael J. Miello and his wife Lauren, Frank P. Miello II, and Jordan P. Miello and his cherished brother and sisters, Jerome Miello, Rose Warren and Jomarie Miello.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 11th also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.
