Frank W. Ronci, suddenly taken from us in his prime at the age of 58. Frank is survived by his parents Frank L. and Elizabeth T. Ronci, his devoted and caring wife Christa (Meier), and his three wonderful, loving children Frank S. (wife, Crystal), Arianna (Matt Valvano) and Michael; brother Wayne (wife, Eileen), sister Sharon, and godson Nathan Ronci, father-in-law Stephen C. Meier, brother-in-law Ralph Meier (wife, Laurie), nephew Reid and niece Sara. Frank resided in Croton-on-Hudson for the past 32 years after marrying Christa in September 1980.
Frank is also survived by many cousins, family members and dear friends, who touched his life with their friendship, love, and generosity.
Frank was born February 27, 1954, and raised in Peekskill, NY. He attended the Assumption School and Archbishop Stepinac High School. Frank graduated from Marquette University with a BA in Psychology, where he was a member of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology; he earned an MBA degree from Baruch College; Engineering Certificates from MIT and Polytechnic University and was an Affiliate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Frank was currently employed at the New York MTA Bridge and Tunnels as Manager of Compensation & Benefits, earning multiple certifications including Certified Compensation and Profession Certified Benefits Professions.
Frank was very active with the Holy Name of Mary Church, in Boy Scout Troop 28 where he served for many years as Committee Chair and assistant Scout Master as well as with The Knights of Columbus, where he had held the position of Grand Knight, and with the Church Finance Committee, and Cornerstone Team. He actively participated on the Eagle Scout Review Board and guided his two sons to achieve scouting’s highest level, Eagle Scout. He guided his daughter to earn Girl Scout’s highest award, The Gold Award. He was so very proud of his children. He not only guided his own children but many other members of Troop 28, leading many camping trips to Camp Read and Philmont.
Visitation is Monday, March 5th at the Chapel of The Good Shepherd, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral will be on Tuesday, March 6th, at 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Name of Mary, 110 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will be private.
