Frances H. Matero of White Plains, NY passed away on February 23, 2020 at the age of 85. Frances was born to Benjamin and Eleanor (Levin) Brooks on June 1, 1934 in the Bronx, NY. Frances was predeceased by her husband Angelo Matero in August of 2019.
Frances is survived by her beloved son Mark Greenfield (Gloria), and step-children Angelo Matero, Jr., and Catherine Matero. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Marissa, Sarah, Anthony, Brian, and Michael, and her brother Steven Brooks (Lee), nieces & nephews Johnathan Brooks (Emilie), Allison (Mark), Sue Matero (Steve), and Sr. Angeline Matero. Along with her husband Angelo, Frances was also predeceased by her daughters Annie and Susan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 6-9PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday, February 27th at 2pm Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
