Edward was born on May 6, 2000, in Valhalla, New York. He was a gifted and talented young man, both in sports and in music. Edward played violin and trumpet and had a beautiful voice. His great love was baseball and in his last season of Little League he pitched a perfect game. Edward loved children and they loved him. He was very sad when, because of his illness, he had to leave his job as an assistant teacher at a day care center in Yorktown. He battled cancer with great courage.
Edward is survived by his loving parents, Marshall and Rosalie Nathan, his cherished sister Anjane and brother Richard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11th, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Church on Wednesday, January 12th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
