He turns 1 in less than a month and I would give anything to have you here for his birthday party on the 3rd. All your siblings will be there. They all love you so much. I love you mom. Mom,
I think about you every day. There is not a day that goes by that I wish with all of me I can share with you. You were/are my go to. Since you have been gone I have had ups and downs. Relatively recently things were going great! Jilly and I carving a life out for each other and I want to share this with you. Fixing my house, fun times with my wife, with family I want to share with you. There are other sad times; I got sick and all I could think is I wish I had my mom to talk to. I would like nothing more than to hug you and for you to tell me it’s going to be okay. As I try to navigate life I use you as my compass. I love you mom. 

She was always kind. Made you feel safe  and welcome in her house, with a warm, genuine smile, but a little bit of wit and sass. A true sense of humor that made me smile. Thanks for making me feel comfortable with such ease. You were everything to your family and these posts show that. What a gift, now gone, sorry Lauren and Family. I had no idea this had happened and just recently heard from a mutual friend. My deepest most sincere condolences and love for your family. 

Christina was  a beautiful soul. When she retired from teaching she decided to spend her last few weeks at work speaking with each of her friends and telling them what she loved and admired most about them. I was fortunate enough to be present for a few of these goodbyes. It was her way of expressing her love to those around her. She loved finding the gifts inside people and helping them to shine.  
I feel so lucky to have her in my heart forever,

My deepest sympathy is with all of Christina's family on her passing. I have not seen her in many years, but that has not diminished my memory of her vibrant spirit and caring heart. She made the world a better place for the many lives she touched and there is no better legacy to leave than that. God rest her beautiful soul.

I hated Art but Ms Martz somehow found talent where I thought was none. She was a loving kind and patient teacher. The children adored her   I will miss her lovely smile and her sunny disposition To her family you have my deepest sympathies and condolences Praying that The Lord gives you the strength to go through this heartbreaking time We were better for having known her A thousand hugs 

When I first met you when I was a parent in P.S.106 and then started as a school Aide we became friends.  I was  honor that you picked me and my husband to do your daughter and son in law  The wedding celebration with your family and friend  and you loved the  Photo album . You taught me to be a better teacher by modeling kindness, patience, and creativity. You strove for excellence in every single thing you did. You always told the truth even if it was really hard to hear. You found uniqueness in every person.  You truly believed that everyone had a unique gift to share and encouraged us to be our best selves. You loved bringing people together and knew that diversity made life sweeter. You loved to laugh and have fun and lit up a room when you entered. 
You were a problem solver and believed that every problem had a solution. 
You knew that the love of family and friends is the most important thing in life and made sure we all knew how much you loved us. 
Your loyalty and friendship is a gift I will treasure forever.

I haven’t seen Christina in so many years and reconnected on Facebook. We grew up in Edgewater Park together so many years ago.   My deepest condolences to Christina’s family and the Martz family. I know the world was a better place because of Christina. I hadn’t seen her in years but I miss her already. Rest in eternal peace dear friend.

You are me and I am you...I love you mom... I always felt so good when she said that to me because it’s true her soul runs through my veins- but also makes my heart ache- I hope I can learn to harness energy the she always did...and hear it toward loving giving and creating. It goes without saying my mother had a peace of heaven living inside her. She had a way of accepting challenges , and creating an experience to learn from- for everyone around her. She was always learning and always teaching... whether she new or not. A piece of her is in everyone she loved. 
Her compassion and dedication to her family and friends as individuals was one of her super powers....to connect...she was brilliant. sensitive, kind, creative, passionate, sincere, curious. Nothing in the world could have prepared me to lose her- but knowing a piece of her is in everyone she loved. It’s hard to find words to explain this experience so this my best.
Mom is my infinity. And always will be 

When our son David fell in love with Lauren and both of our families met, we were instantly one big happy family, and that was because of Christina’s welcoming open heart and loving kindness.   We shared wonderful family times together, and sharing the birth of our grandchildren was the icing on the cake!  We will miss Christina more than words can say.  She was a true fast friend, and we loved her.   To the Font/Martz family, our deepest condolences.

Your Smile was  always a pleasure to see. You had a Happy Go Lucky Character, a Heart full of Goodness and always showed an enormous amount of Kindness. Thank you for letting me use your Art Classroom for Girl Scouts. I still have the oversized Pencil you gave me when you were gathering your items in preparation for your Retirement. I first met Christina in watercolor class at the UFT teachers center. My first thought was, "She is way too young to be here!" My next thought was, "She's a great artist. I'm jealous!"Christina was a phenomenal artist and a very sweet person.  I was delighted when she took the acrylic painting class I taught. I am so glad I got to know her even though it was for  a short time.  I am also glad I have become friends with her mom. I will miss Christina and  I  will always remember her. Christina was the first person I met when we moved to Croton. I remember her smiling face at the Little League field. Through the years we watched David and Andrew grow. I will miss our Our walks at Senasqua and Silver  Lake. I was so impressed at her resilience in facing her disease. What a loss to all. RIP ❤️

My Family shared the dinner table at a Cruise in 2011 with Christina and Frank. A beautiful couple that we remember fondly. They invited us to get together for another cruise they where going to some years later but we weren’t able to go. We all really hit it off <3 

My big sis..... Christina, you have always made me feel special. I am truly amazed at how you have made everyone you've met better, you have made this world a much better place just by being here. You will live on in all the beautiful artwork you have created but even more so in all the lives you have brought more love into. You are a Great Mom, daughter, wife, friend, most if all my big sister... you have made our family stronger and better. I thank GOD for every moment we've had. Martzy - you were like a sister to me - guided me  in all aspects of my life - a true friend.  There will never be another “ busy n body”team. Glad we were able to make some  great retirement memories together with Fran - I will cherish them always. Forever in my heart - RIP Martzy-

I met Christina when I first moved to this town, she was my first friend. She always received my family and I with open and loving arms. I have many fond memories with her, including spending christmas eve with her and her family and raising our kids. I will miss her amazing smile and our special friendship. Christina has touched all our hearts. She painted beautiful memories in our minds. Her masterpiece is the legacy of her wonderful family. We wonder if the next rainbow we see may be painted by Christina's colorful brushstrokes to remind us all she is still with us? We love you all and will miss Christina.

It must be almost unbearable to the family members who are the closest to you.  At some point, deep sadness will give way to joyful memories. You often shared the messages of Peace, Love and Hope. You shared these ideas through your positive energy and kindness. You also shared them through all the beautiful art you created. You are a caring, loving and beautiful spirit. I feel very blessed to have known the love, warmth and kindness that is Christina. She will be missed by all who have had the great pleasure of knowing her. Christina is finally at peace and hugging her dad Mickey, once more. They are both in God’s loving care.
