Carol Macrini

Carol Macrini, 83, born Caroline Tavolacci in the Bronx, NY on October 25, 1933. A blessed and loving wife who was predeceased by her husband, Dominick G. Macrini. She was a beloved and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend to so many, as well as the #1 Yankees fan. She passed away very peacefully on Thursday night, August 24th at 11:11 pm. If there was ever a perfect passing into God's arms, this was it. Her last breath was a gentle kiss goodbye to all who knew her.

By her side, each with a hand on her, were the people she lived and breathed for, son Marc Macrini, son Daniel Macrini, daughter-in-law Betty Macrini, daughter Pamela M. Woolston, son-in-law Gregg Woolston, beloved and adored closest friends Linda Goodwin and Alex Levitch, and grandsons Matthew Macrini, Dominic Macrini and Danny Macrini.

Our loss here on earth, which is just a short breath, is heavens gain for all of eternity. All we can say is thank you, Mom. For teaching us the most important lesson in this life. Love.

Viewing is Monday, August 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services are Tuesday, August 29th at 10am at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
