Wilma Bailey

Wilma “Mookie” Bailey 91 of Poca was called to heaven on October 18, 2015, after a battle with cancer. Wilma was a loving wife for 69 years to James H. Bailey. Wonderful Mother to James K. Bailey (Vickie) of Poca, Jerry W. Bailey (Gail) of Medina, and Gladys Redman (Jerry) of Poca. She was the very proud Grandmother of 7 Grandchildren; Karen Patton (Michael) of Poca, Christy Ward (Denny) of Poca, Jamie Fisher (Jimmy) of Liberty, Josh Bailey (Athena) of St. Albans, Jeremiah Bailey (Ashley) of St. Albans, Travis Miller (Kendra) of VA, and Alicia Lewis (Todd) of Cross Lanes. Great Grandmother of 13 and Great Great Grandmother to 1. Wilma was preceded in death by her mother Stella Mae “Landers” Kelley, Father William M. Kelley; 4 sisters, Thelma Sigman, Zelma Slobodnik, Velma Creasy, and Faye Kelley; 5 brothers, Garth Kelley, Gail Kelley, William “Glen” Kelley, Delbert Kelley, and “Sonny” Kelley; one infant Great Granddaughter Rin Isis Marie Bailey. Two dear sisters survive Wilma. Wilda Painter of Cross Lanes and Florence Bartley of OH. Wilma’s love, generosity and caring heart will be truly missed by her family and everyone who was blessed to know her. Wilma’s extended family would like to extend a special Thanks to her three children, their spouses, her Granddaughters Karen Patton and Alicia Lewis who made her final days ones that will be treasured for a lifetime and allowed her to remain at home surrounded by love. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from noon until 2:00pm at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Rd. Cross Lanes, WV 25313.
