Martha Marie Toler(Stevens)

I was born and raised in Coal Mountain & Long Branch West Virginia by my parents James Stevens and Alana Morgan. I came from a family with 7 girls. I was born the third behind my sisters Emma Mae Marcum, Anna June Mettlin(Duane), and of course following me was Pricilla Louise Short(Bill), Judy Arlene Duran(Jake), Rosetta Sue Morgan(Rodney), and Virginia Katherine Phillis aka aunt Susie(Gilbert). I was Preceded in death by my Dad James Alderson Stevens, Mom Alana Morgan, My youngest son Tracy, Grandsons Phillip & Patrick, My Sisters Emma, Ann, Rosetta, and Susie. Big Jim sure had his hands full.

I married the love of my life Eugene B. Toler. Some of you knew him as Buddy or Gene. We lived a great life. We have 4 children. Rhonda A Thomas, Tammy L Fertig, Eugene A Toler, and Tracy L Toler. Tracy has been deceased for 4 years now. Our daughter in laws are Barbara Toler, Kim Doss,and Rebecca Reveal. Son in laws Gary Ashworth, Greg Fertig, Mike Thomas and Kevin Hall.

I was a CNA at CAMC General for 30 years , I then became a Home Health Aide. I am pretty sure I touched the lives of someone in your family. I hope I brought them hope and comfort.

To my children, I made it. I’m with your dad, Tracy, Patrick and Phillip. I have run into Mom, Dad, Ann, Duane, Emma Mae, Rosetta, and Susie with her 2 beautiful daughters. They are so beautiful. I am no longer in pain. My body was left for you to grieve and then move on. I’ve loved you all of my life and I will continue to love you from afar. You are my whole world.

We have 16 grandchildren. Phillip Board(Deceased),Joey Ashworth, Matt Toler, Brianne Toler, Nikki Toler, Hayley Simokat, Kaleb Toler, Tracy Allen Toler, Patrick (P-Man) Gross(deceased), Brittany Toler, Jared Hall, Kyle Hall, Scott Thomas, Shelby Thomas. They didn’t stop there and produced 21 great grandchildren. London, Chloe, Katherine Ann, Corey, Grant, Ostin, Mackenzie, Tristan, Trentan, Henry, Zoey, Kenleigh, Boston, Ava, Tatum, Zayden, Lincoln, Cohen, Gracelynn Marie, and Tegan.

To my 2 Living sisters, grieve now and move on. I’ll see you two birds soon. Ha Ha.

Ronnie Toler Sr. you were the best brother in law any woman could have. Thank you for holding up the Toler last name.

Before I go I couldn’t end this without mentioning my brother in law Gilbert Phillis and my niece Stacie Phillis. Thank you for being by my side anytime I needed you and for taking my best friend in the whole world. Bailey Toler, BEST DOG EVER...Mommy will see you soon Bay Bay.
