Marcella Brown Tufts

May 19, 1920 – November 25, 2018

Marcella B. Tufts, 98, of St. Albans, formerly of Oak Hill, passed away at home November 25, 2018.

She was born May 19, 1920 in Louisa, KY, the daughter of Benjamin and Rosa Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Tufts, infant daughter Deana Lou and step daughter, Janice Goff, brothers, Ishmael, Ireland, Dewey, and Jay, and sister, Ethel Ramey.

Marcella retired from Fayette County Dept. of Welfare and has been a resident of St. Albans for the past 19 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Mangus (James) of St. Albans, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Huse Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Fayetteville.
