Larry Earl Parsons

He was born April 3, 1954 in Charleston, the son of Oshel Theodore and Marjorie June Harper Parsons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother, Mary Sue Botkins Parsons, sisters, Bernice Gay Parsons, Angela Ann Corey, and Doris Lee Snyder.

Larry was a 1972 graduate of Sissonville High School. He was formerly employed with St. Francis Hospital, Raleigh General Hospital and Baptist Hospital in Paducah Kentucky with over 47 years of service with them. He was an avid genealogy researcher. Larry loved going on cruises. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by brother, Edward E. Parsons, sisters, Hildia Fay Parsons, Kathern Jean Flowers, Joyce Lynn White, and Pamela Michelle Parsons, and a host of other family and friends.

Celebration of Larry’s life will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 1 until time of service at the funeral home.
