On September 25th Kenneth Robert (Bob) Holstein, 68, of Charleston passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House after a long hard fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born December 24, 1954. He graduated from Scott High School and WV Tech.
During his career as an electrician, he worked at Carbon Fuel, UPS, the Stamping Plant and he retired from Constellium.
Bob was always eager to lend a helping hand. He volunteered his services often to help widows, as well as wire the Maker Center which is used for those in recovery, school children and the community.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, fishing, attending concerts and going on cruises.
Bob, a man of great faith, was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Holstein. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy, daughter Stephanie Anderson (Adam) and grandchildren Tucker and Ellie, his mother Dolores Price, siblings Jeannene Campbell, Veda Ball, Renee Groves, Barbara Flood, Ray Cook, Nancy Duncan and Bill Cook.
Bob was a great friend to many and will be missed by all.
The family appreciates Hospice nurse Jo Bailey and the services provided at the Hubbard Hospice House.
Bob planned a hymn service which will be led by Richard Thompson, on September 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St Albans.
