Mrs. Jo Ann Tincher

Jo Ann Tincher, 83 of Nitro, WV passed away after a long illness at Hubbard Hospice West, Charleston, WV on Sunday July 26th, 2015. She was born the daughter of the late Luther B. and Thelma L. Rider Smith. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Olive and Phyllis. Surviving are her three children Genie (Jon) Scott, Jeff (Deena) Tincher, and Tim (Stephanie Higginbotham) Tincher; grandchildren, Jodee Martin, Jason Thomas, Amber West, Brandon Tincher, Ashyley Tincher, and Raelyn Tincher; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Luke and Rosie Martin; and great-great- grandchildren Joseph Rutledge and Benjamin West. Jo Ann graduated from Nitro High School in 1948 and retired from The WV Department of Highways in 1994. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, staying in our hearts forever. A special thanks to Dr. Sheth and Staff, Dr. Jogennpolly and staff and especially “Danny” and the ambulatory services at Thomas. Thank you everyone at Hubbard House for your kindness, respect and care to our family and mother as we said goodbye and let her go. Services will be 11:.00am Thursday, July 30th 2015 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Rd. Cross Lanes, WV 25313 with entombment to follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
