James A Conner

He passed away on January 7,2025 after an almost 5 year battle with various complications due to long Covid-19. James was preceded in death by his mother Velma Jean Conner, his father, James A. Conner Sr., and his younger brother Joel Conner.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Conner (Abdul Muqeet), his son, James (Yasmine) Conner, their mother, Sally Elmore, his sister, Jana Bullock, and his brother, Jeremy (Crista) Conner, along with his 7 beloved grandchildren.

James was born in Miami, FL, but also lived in Sissonville, WV, and Chicago, IL.

James was a Ramp Service Lead & PM Hot Seat employee of United Airlines for 37 years. He thoroughly enjoyed working for United. James was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He had a keen sense of humor and loved to make his grandchildren laugh with his silly jokes.

James will be missed by all those who loved him.

Celebration of James’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Cunningham Memorial Park, Upper Mausoleum with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 12 until time of service at the mausoleum.
